The Mary Smith Team is trained to offer staging services and recommendations to your property to enhance the presentation of your home.

Home staging is NOT decorating—it is actually the opposite, because you are depersonalizing your home so that it appeals to more buyers. The goal of staging is to make your house look bigger, brighter and warmer, so that buyers “feel” at home and can imagine themselves living in the space. The most important marketing tool in selling your home is its price. Well-priced properties generate immediate interest among agents and buyers. Actually, most of the showing activity of a property typically comes within the first 4 to 5 weeks after it is listed. The value a buyer sees in a property is a combination of location, condition and price. Marketing Your Home

Complete Transaction Management

Once under contract, there are still many details to be dealt with and monitored. After doing a home inspection, the buyers will often ask for repairs, which require more negotiation. Often, the repairs have to be made in a short period of time. The Mary Smith Team has compiled an extensive list of  client-endorsed contractors, so we can help with recommendations to be sure repairs are completed in a timely and professional manner. During this time, the closing attorney will do the title search, the appraisal will be done and the lender will process the buyer’s loan.  All of these matters are time sensitive and it is important to pay attention to every detail. From contract to closing, there are many potential pitfalls which can result in major complications if anything falls through.
